Teachers around the world are the molders of the future. They play significant roles in nurturing young minds to become productive and meaningful individual. September 5 to October 5 is a special month for all teachers. This month long celebration honors them, appreciate their good deeds and remembering all efforts they rendered most especially the meaningful lessons that touched so many lives. This is the second time around that we celebrate teachers day virtually . It’s more than one year and a half that amidst Covid 19 still teachers continue to inspire the young minds and gives their strong commitment to the Department of Education .Covid 19 is not a hindrance to SDO Pasay to pay tribute to our dear teachers. And make this celebration meaningful and enjoyable.
SDO Pasay headed by our Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Loreta B. Torrecampo ,CESO V released a memorandum on the Celebration of Division wide Teachers’ Day that was held , October 8,2021. Among other activities included in the celebration are giving recognition to those teachers who rendered 25 , 30, 35 and 40 years of service as “ Loyalty Awardees” . Mrs. Teresita Montances our very own teachers was among the awardee who rendered 30 years in this institution . SDO pasay also pays tribute to those teachers who already retired . “Tribute to the Retiree” were also done virtually were in their dedication to the institution is recognized.
P. Villanueva / Pasay City Sped Center celebrates our 2nd Teachers’ Day Virtual Celebration . It was started with the Holy mass . Only few teachers came to joined together with the school staff. It was followed with the blessings of the new renovated building . After the mass a short virtual program that was organized by the faculty club officers to bring enjoyment to our colleagues in our own simple way. Our faculty vice president Mr. Gilbert San Jose gives his opening remarks and was followed by an inspirational message by our dear principal Ma’am Lea M. Marcelo . The highlights of our celebration was the “TIKTOK CHALLENGE “ to be presented by each Grade Levels . A raffle draw was done in between of each Grade Levels performances . Our master teachers together with Mam Lea and the school staffs also rendered a surprise tiktok number . Three Grade levels were declared as winners ; Grade three got 3rd place, Kinder teachers and Early Interventions got 2nd place and the 1st place was given to Grade Two and Level Two teachers . The celebration was formally ended by the closing remarks given by Pasay City Sped faculty vise president Ma’am Dina S. Gador . Our principal prepared an home essential package and a t shirt for all the teachers as a token of their hard work and dedication for learners and to the institution .
